Samuel lives in Wheaton, Illinois. He is the coordinator of the Ariang School Project and the Lang Water Project and representative in the Midwest. He received his Associates Degree in Business Management from the College of Dupage in May, 2007. Presently, he is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership at Benedictine University. Samuel and Gabriel returned home in 2007 to reconnect with surviving members of their families. On his trip home, Samuel realized that a clean water system is a critical step toward preventing cholera and other water-borne diseases in Southern Sudan. Samuel, Koor Garang, and Gabriel, are featured in the documentary film, "Rebuilding Hope".
